Verizon Wireless completed its purchase of Alltel on January 9, 2009, and work is underway to merge the operations of the two companies. During the next several months, we will upgrade the Alltel network and integrate it into Verizon Wireless’ nationwide voice and advanced broadband network to bring Alltel customers the best wireless experience available and to offer them the full suite of Verizon Wireless services. Alltel customers are not required to take any action at this time. Your Alltel calling plan and features, including My Circle, will remain the same through the transition period. Alltel customers can find more information about the merger and how it may affect their service at www.alltel.com.
